Packing and Shipping
Always use a sturdy cardboard box with about 3″ of space around the doll or ceramic piece. Fill this space with bubble wrap or packing popcorn to protect it in transit.
Insure the doll or ceramic through the post office or the shipping company.
Wrap the head, hands, and legs with bubble-wrap individually. Then wrap the entire doll in more bubble-wrap.
When shipping a bisque doll, stuff it's head with tissue paper so the eye rocker remains in place. To avoid stress on the rocker, pack the doll face-down and draw “This Side Up” arrows on the sides of the package.
